A man came to Dubai to be the first person to own iPhone 14

A young Malayali businessman came from Kochi to Dubai to be the first person to own the newly launched iPhone 14.

Businessman Dheeraj Palli bought the iPhone 14 Pro model in Dubai at 7 am on September 16, hours before the iPhone 14 Pro model was released in India on the same date. He bought the phone from a premium reseller in the Mirdif city center.

Apart from paying around Dh5,949 for the phone, the 28-year-old businessman also spent over INR 40,000 on his ticket and visa fees.

Dheeraj first came to Dubai in 2017 to buy iPhone 8. After that, he was also in Dubai to buy the iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone 12, and iPhone 13 ahead of their launch dates in India.

Earlier, the iPhone went on sale in Dubai weeks before the launch in India. Now, the sale starts on the same day in Dubai and India.

However, Dheeraj decided to buy from Dubai hours before the sale started in India. Dheeraj's decision is based on the satisfaction he gets when he buys the phone as the first customer.
