Saudi visit visa for UAE residents

How to apply for a Saudi visit visa for UAE residents?

A Saudi visit visa is not difficult if you have the required documents and are registered with the Saudi consulate in your country of residence.

KSA has announced that it will be issuing Saudi tourist visas for UAE residents starting this month. The move comes in response to the recent surge in tourist arrivals from the region. This is an important development for Saudi Arabia as it attempts to diversify its tourism sources and reduce its dependence on visitors from Arab states.

Saudi Arabia's new regulation allows GCC residents to apply online for a Saudi e-Visa. Visa on Arrival is available to residents of the United Kingdom, the United States, and the European Union.

Saudi Arabia's Minister of Tourism, Ahmed Al-Khateeb, announced that the country is now more accessible to tourists.

Holders of a valid tourist or business visa from the UK, US, or a Schengen country can still apply for a visa on arrival, as long as they have entered the country of visa issue at least once.

This decision is part of the kingdom's Vision 2030 initiatives. Last week, Wizz Air announced a significant expansion of services to Saudi Arabia by adding multiple European destination routes and expecting to bring over one million passengers. This month, Saudi Arabia recorded an 80 percent increase in passengers, with a total of 11.6 million.

How can GCC residents apply for a Saudi e-Visa?

As the kingdom relaxes its visa entry rules, the Saudi e-Visa for GCC residents (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and the UAE) has become easier to obtain.

Foreign nationals with a residency permit in one of the Gulf Cooperation Countries (GCC) and an eligible passport can apply for a Saudi e-Visa online and stay in the kingdom for up to three months.

Step 1: Residents of the GCC must upload a personal photo with a white background. Users will be notified about the non-refundable fees on the online portal at this point.

Step 2: Applicants must then register and create an account on this page, which will send you a confirmation message requesting that you activate your account.

Step 3: Applicants would then return to the GCC section of the portal and click on this link, where they would be asked to read the terms and conditions and make a $10 payment.

In addition, applicants will be charged $10.05 for insurance processing and $12 for the insurance policy itself, as well as an additional $80 processing fee.

Step 4: As a final step, applicants must enter their personal and passport information, as well as contact and residential information, along with their travel plans, such as flight and hotel reservations.

After completing the above steps, applicants will receive their Saudi eVisa within 24 hours.

The visa is valid for three months and allows for only one month of entry.

A multiple-entry form the Saudi eVisa is valid for a year, with each stay in the kingdom limited to three months.

The following countries are eligible to apply for the Saudi e-Visa:

Canada, the United States of America, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Brunei, China (including Hong Kong and Macau), Japan, Kazakhstan.

If you are a resident of one of the GCC countries, and you would like to visit Saudi Arabia, you will need a tourist visa. The process of applying for a Saudi visit visa is relatively easy and can be done through your local embassy or consulate.
