UAE travel rule: new rule for passengers announces to travel

According to the new regulations, a tourist must have both their primary name and a surname included in their passport in order to travel into or out of the UAE. Entry into the nation will be prohibited for those without the standardized naming procedure.

Travel agents have received information from a number of Indian airlines, including SpiceJet, Air India Express, and Indigo, advising them of the new rules.

Passengers having a single name on their passports traveling on a tourist, visit, or other types of visa will not be allowed to travel to/from the UAE starting on November 21, 2022, under guidelines from the UAE Authorities.

Passengers having a single name on their passports who also have a residency permit or work visa are somehow permitted to travel as long as the "First Name" and "Surname" columns are updated with identical information. It indicates that the new restriction will not apply to travelers with residence or employment visas.

Any passport holder trying to enter the nation using only their primary or middle name will be deemed inadmissible. The guidelines are applicable right now.
